Koren was our 2nd best player today. He created that sitter Jelavic **** on. By incident our ONLY chance in the entire game. That should have been our point. Anyone blaming Koren today needs to give their head a ****ing good bang, I doubt we'd have even had a single shot without him.

Once again Liam Rosenior proving that he isnt good enough. Offers nothing going forward, cant pass the ball to player on the same team and cant cross the ball to save his life. Got beaten far too easily in the air for their goal.

Sorry to say, but I think Alex Bruce and Figgie are becoming the weak link. As a defender, Bruce puts in some great tackles but his passing is ****e, and usually results in giving the ball back to the opposition.
However Huddlestone needs to take his share of the blame as he constantly distributes the ball back to the centre-halfs who don't share his capability to find a pass up field.

We desperately need someone else in midfield or behind the strikers who is comfortable holding the ball. Aluko....get well soon mate.

I wouldnt blame Bruce for that, Davies did it too. Because, as you said, Hudd kept knocking it back to them.
We got beat in the middle of the park. The Sperzz boys need to stop acting like fannys and get stuck in. Fer dominated the midfield.

Er, what? Did you seriously watch the same match as the rest of us?

Don't know what game you were watching but Rosie was by far out best player.

All the idiots come out again? Tough game against a good side who are fighting for their lives. If they lost today, the manager would have gone. Dissapointing performance coupled with the sending off. Time for some of our other players to step up and maybe allow JL to control the play. Ahh well, on to next week <ok>

Good point but we're better than that. Its not like it was an even game and we played well, we played shocking and didn't deserve a win. Alex Bruce, dont start him again get mcshane on. We must of booted that ball upfield 20+ times with nothing to come from it. Pissed off is a understatement.

Norwich's midfield completely overran us and looked more up for it - poor show and I do wonder how Quinn never got some time on the pitch - our midfield needed him at the end

too much of this pass back to the keeper, hoof it up field, lose possession going on

loss of Chessie must have had an impact cos we looked OK up to then

Patty, markkc, Pearson and Hull City AFC (DMD <laugh>

5 points off rock bottom, getting beat off your rivals. You should get yourself back over to our board on the wum again. Right in the **** now. Serves yourself ****ing right <laugh>

Why don't you support Darlington?

Totally agree, but as soon as we have a bad run, people become twats instead of encouraging the team. Yes it's a bad loss, a draw would have been perfect, but we go to Palace knowing we need a win. We haven't 'needed' to win in a very long time, hopefully Long and Jela lead the line and we put in a good shift.

A lot of people were calling for Aluko to play in behind Jelavic and Long when he's fit again, however I think we learnt today that we need that extra body in midfield. The absence of Meyler meant Thud and Livermore would've had to cover more ground hence why their performances weren't great. I don't think that's an excuse however, they still should have had more of a grip on the game.

Fair result, we were poor and Norwich went for it. As I've been saying Figueroa is not good enough. We lost the game in the midfield, especially when we changed shape. Thudd was poor today and played too deep but didn't deserve a red, Livermore made bad decisions and lacked quality. Jelavic looked very good when the team was playing well, had a lot of class on the ball and got into good positions, don't think his miss was a sitter by any means and 3cm to the right we would be raving about how incredible he was.

Excited for Long, Aluko and Brady coming back in, then we will see what the team is really about.

I might have been watching a different game, but Rosey was our best player. Intercepted some crucial balls, covered round when they were through and made some very good headers at the back post.
