After the destruction at the Den a few months ago the manager and team seemed to have tried not to get humiliated for a few months It didn't last and we are back in the **** again . Team news to follow
If we fail to win today, which is more than possible, his team selection for Burton will come back to haunt him. Big time. The unrest at full time will be poisonous.
Greg Downs just said 'if you look at Naismith since he's been here, he's been very very disappointing'. No sh1t Sherlock??
For me, it's the injuries he's had. He can't help that, but it prevents a run of games which could have made a difference.
Sorry, no excuses. He has never, ever looked like an £8m+ player since the day he arrived at the club. If the best he's been linked with is Kilmarnock, don't you think that tells it's own story?
He played well against Liverpool and the odd game at the end of last season after Neil left but no more than 3 or 4 good performances for the ridiculous price and salary.
Especially expensive considering his age and resale value. Rick could find the positives from a nuclear holocaust.
He knew the mug punters would pay his massive wages no matter how poorly he played, he has no affinity to the club local area or fans and is on £6k a day plus bonuses to play golf and scratch his balls. Zero motivation for him to bust a gut. He'll probably be the best player in Scotland if we loan him out and pay his wages or release him for free.
Oliviera should be embarrassed about that ridiculous goal celebration/protest in the first game the guy is undroppable as there is only one other striker and puts in pretty poor performances with a miserly goal tally. This side without Maddisson and Pritchard will go down. Let's see if we can hang on to them in the window .
