Hi guys yes I’m still alive ;)
I can’t see anything other than a convincing defeat today I’m afraid. Although admittedly it was a lastminute.com offer I actually turned down the chance to have a free lunch and booze and go corporate today such is my disillusionment at the moment.
I hope I’m wrong and it still works out for DF as he seems like a nice guy, then again so did Hootun ! ;)

Binners one behind at Hull - after 4 (four) minutes.

Interesting line-up today and good to see Vrancic back on the bench.

My God, they're industrial, aren't they? No surprise there.

Problem is, you make one mistake against a team like that and you lose.

And the first ten minutes of the second half is when we make mistakes ...

Good half, dominating the midfield battle without creating much threat up front, but then Boro haven't conceded any goals in their last 5 matches. Typical Pulis tactics. Can understand Rhodes not playing against 3 CBs as we're trying to get in behind rather than putting crosses into the box. 7 shots to their 3.

Yes, it feels like the first to make a mistake will pay the price.

Solid so far no cock ups but no real goal threat .
Hernandez looks up for it thus far.

I think Middlesbrough will probably go up because creating nothing at all and waiting for the other team to screw up is enough for this level.

I don't think the Premiership will be quaking in their boots at the thought of playing them, though.

The best performance for a long long time (at least that I've been able to watch here in Lisbon)

Great win with a hard battling performance. This should bring confidence for the matches coming up and hopefully we'll extend our three match unbeaten run.

Good game we were by far the better team, Aarons and Lewis were good Tettey was Tettey and Pukki got the winner.

Even Krul had a good game.

We had far better stats overall, BUT somehow we failed to win a single corner in the entire match. A win against the team in 2nd, who hadn't conceded in 5. Is the tide turning?
