Well it’s a hard one to call. The football will be a lot better than last year’s opening fixture but I still have this nagging feeling that we won’t have the quality and experience to win this one. Can’t wait to go on Saturday and by 4:45 we should have a better idea of what we are capable of,

Yep. The friendlies worked well for us but as you say, by the end of the game we'll have a first indicator. Not season defining by any means.

I think you'd do a brilliant job.
I'm happy to fit in with whatever is required.
Why not do the Norwich thread and see how you feel about it? I think when you're a natural writer like your goodself, it won't require too much discipline.

Shucks.... You say the nicest things but when it comes to eloquence and knowledge I believe you definitely have the edge.

I'd be happy to give it a go but would just be worried that I'd go MIA too often and end up leaving someone to have to step in as a last minute substitute for me....

I really want to be able to predict a win but I can't see it yet. A draw this early on the season against Norwich will be a good result for us.

With the greatest respect BB, nobody currently on this site (Aberdude excepting) is capable of filling Masky’s shoes.....a great man indeed! Certainly not the limp wristed tit with a mains tester....just saying!
