We had all summer to sign him mate. We could have got him signed as soon as we were promoted before wed even signed Simms and had the 3 of them starting the season with us..
We all knew 2 strikers wouldnt be enough, and we were soon proven right when Stewart tore his thigh muscle in early Sept leaving us with only Simms.

He’s talking about how Boro have just signed the lad from Atalanta.
 
Unfortunately all these teams that go down have players they sell on back to the Prem for ridiculous money and they replace them with top quality players for this level. The ones they manage to keep have also just spent a season or more in the Prem so again teams like us are at a disadvantage.

Luton went against the grain last season and showed us how its done, but without any real investment and trying to pick kids up from random teams doesnt give me much hope in us going up anytime soon.

We managed to buck that trend when we fell from the Prem too :(

Why the **** does anyone need that much money and a house with 25 bedrooms?

Shame they didn’t add an “amount per dive and roll” clause into his contract, would have made the Saudi State bankrupt in a season.

benzema has a similar contract by all accounts. It is disgusting how much money is being chucked at this, but that’s what happens in a country of bored trillionaires.
