Arsenal are plotting a summer move for unsettled Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, 27, who has asked to leave the Premier League champions.

Tottenham are closing on a deal to bring Barcelona striker David Villa to White Hart Lane

Tottenham are confident winger Gareth Bale, 23, will commit his future to the club next month by signing a new deal that will pay him £170,000 a week.

Outgoing interim Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez says Jose Mourinho will have £100m to spend this summer when he returns to Stamford Bridge.

Both Tottenham and Chelsea have made approaches for Southampton's 17-year-old defender Luke Shaw. The England Under-21 left-back has emerged as one of the Premier League's brightest talents.

Spurs are close to completing a deal for Barcelona striker David Villa, 31.

West Ham have asked Chelsea if they can take £20m-rated Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, 20, on loan again next season.

Manchester United face competition from Bayer Leverkusen as they target a move for £25m-rated Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan, 25.

Manchester City have moved for Spain and Seville winger Jesus Navas, 27, as they rebuild ahead of next season.

Stoke are monitoring Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira, 27, as Tony Pulis looks to bolster his defence.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Fulham are tracking Watford striker Matej Vydra, 21, who has yet to decide whether to return to parent club Udinese, stay at Watford or move elsewhere.

West Brom boss Steve Clarke is offering Wigan striker Franco Di Santo, 24, a chance to stay in the Premier League.

Christian Benteke's agent has hinted the Belgian striker, 22, expects a bumper pay day for saving Aston Villa from relegation, or he will look to move elsewhere.

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon, 26, is a transfer target for Inter Milan.

Arsenal are close to signing France U21 striker Yaya Sanogo from French side Auxerre.

Tell you what, if he's even half as good as he is on Football Manager, Wenger has got a cracking player there! ;)

Transfer News: Premier League giants join hunt for African wonder-kid Ramy Rabia

Chelsea and Manchester United have joined the chase for Egyptian wonder-kid Ramy Rabia, Sky Sports understands.

The 19-year-old centre-half has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Africa.

The Al Ahly stopper made his club debut aged just 17 and he already has five full caps for Egypt.

Rabia is set to captain Egypt at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey next month, and a host of clubs are ready to continue monitoring him.

Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Schalke are all known to be keeping tabs on him but now Chelsea and United have joined the list of suitors.

Rabia is believed to favour a move to England, and has recently signed with leading agents SEM.

An SEM spokesman confirmed: "A number of clubs have expressed an interest, but at the moment Ramy is looking forward to the Under-20 World Cup."

Barcelona based papers are now reporting it as being sorted, other than the messing about getting all the third party owners to agree the fee.

Neymars dad has said that he will stay in Brazil until after the 2014 World Cup and then move to Europe. ;)

So Neymar maybe off to Barcelona this summer for his holidays at least. :emoticon-0103-cool: <whistle>

One deal that looks set to happen very soon is Shakhtar Donetsk Romanian full back Ratvan Rat joining West Ham on a free transfer.

Gareth Bale, 23, is set to sign a new contract with Tottenham worth £130,000 a week. It is believed the Welshman is likely to be allowed to leave in 12 months' time should a bid in excess of £50m come in for him.

Atletico Madrid are ready to let Manchester City target Falcao, 27, leave as a reward for delivering Champions League football to the club.

Spurs are planning a clear-out as they plan to build a team around Gareth Bale. Striker Emmanuel Adebayor and forward Clint Dempsey are likely to make way with the Londoners hoping to bring in Aston Villa's Christian Benteke, 22, and Barcelona's David Villa, 31.

Christian Benteke's Aston Villa future could be decided in the coming days after boss Paul Lambert admitted talks with the Belgium international have been ongoing for several weeks.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, 63, will be able to spend £70m in the summer as a clear-out could knock more than £350,000 a week off the wage bill.

Liverpool are close to securing the signature of Manchester City defender Kolo Toure, 32, on a free transfer.

Sporting Lisbon defender Tiago Ilori, 20, and Schalke's 21-year-old centre-back Kyriako Papadopoulos are also being monitored by Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.

Aston Villa centre-back Richard Dunne, 33, is set to be released on a free transfer by manager Paul Lambert while veteran goalkeeper Shay Given and midfielder Stephen Ireland could also be shown the exit door.

Andy Carroll could turn down a permanent move to West Ham in order to play European football elsewhere. West Ham have also failed in a bid to land 27-year-old Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.

Fulham are showing interest in Nancy's winger Yohan Mollo and the French club are willing to sell the 23-year-old for £4m.

Juventus will join Manchester United in race to sign defender Andrea Ranocchia, 25, from Italian giants Inter Milan.

Chelsea target Andre Schurrle, 22, has dropped a big hint that he will be on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer after he admitted he has played his last game for Bayer Leverkusen.

Wigan want £15million for midfielder James McCarthy, 22, who is being targeted by Tottenham as Scott Parker's long-term replacement.

I would suggest that they wont have the likes of Keane and Schmeichel for next season.

West Ham allowing striker Carlton Cole to leave this summer.

Tottenham will bid £15 for Wigans James McCarthy or offer Clint Dempsey as part of any deal.

WBA, Fulham and Swansea head the list of PL clubs wanting to sign Darren Bent from Aston Villa.

Tottenham have emerged as a surprise bidder for Liverpools Andy Carroll. European football is the attraction.

Aston Villa also set to release 3 more highly paid stars. Defender Richard Dunne, GK-Shay Given and midfielder Stephen Ireland. www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...on-Villa-begin-cull-of-costly-fringe-men.html

West Ham have just signed a left back called Razvan Rat(brother of Roland), he's worth signing just for his name.

It seems they've also just agreed a £15m fee for Carroll.

Not specifically transfer related but it seems Man City have a new feeder club starting in the MLS in conjunction with the NY Yankees. Reading between the lines they will supply some decent players and also aim to hoover up some American talent too

Wayne Rooney feels he is being forced out of Manchester United and the 27-year-old striker is reportedly adamant that he has not asked to leave the club.

Real Madrid want to sign Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale, 23, this summer and are prepared to better Spurs' contract offer of £150,000-a-week.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says that talks have opened with Manchester City over a deal that would see Edinson Cavani, 26, move to the English club with 27-year-old Edin Dzeko heading the other way.

Malaga's Manchester City target Isco, 21, is now said to be interesting both Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given, 37, will seek a £5m pay-off to tear up his contract, which still has three years to run.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are said to be monitoring Chelsea's David Luiz, 26, who may not be wanted by Jose Mourinho if he returns to Stamford Bridge.

Fiorentina want around £30m for striker Stefan Jovetic, 23, who is a summer target for Arsenal.

Incoming Manchester United boss David Moyes is keen to beat Chelsea to the signature of Southampton's 17-year-old full-back Luke Shaw. However, Shaw has reportedly told Southampton that he will stay and sign his first senior contract at St Mary's.

Andy Carroll, 24, is stalling on a permanent move to West Ham after the Hammers agreed a £15m deal with Liverpool for the striker.

West Ham may also look at signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, 20, on loan to partner Carroll, but face competition from Swansea.

Chelsea to hang onto Lukaku next season despite WBA and West Ham wanting him on loan. Hardly a shock that one.

Luke Shaw to turn down the big clubs and stay at Southampton for a while longer as he says he wants to play PL first team football.

Arsenal boss Wenger to splash the cash this summer. But his first 2 ins appear to be cut price offers. GK Cesar from relegated DQPR and Auxerre 6ft 3in striker Yaya Sonogo almost done deals so say club officials.

Not heard anything of Cardiff spending yet, seem more concerned about hanging on to their manager.

The whole thing about getting automatic promotion instead of through the playoff was to give more time to bring in players.
Playoff final next Monday, neither Cardiff or ourselves seem to be proactive (unless the social network isn't leaking news).
