Fair enough, I just think those against Brexit should stop crying about it and help make it work. They are not happy but vote has been made, it's happening, move on..chippy's referring to majority of who voted v majority of those eligible to vote.
I wasn't claiming i was right in my post, it was a light hearted comment about being a laughing stock amongst other nations. Which, to many people we are. Boris as foreign minister didn't help.
England Votes Official Stats
Leave 53.4%
15,188,406 VOTES
Remain 46.6%

If people never bothered to vote on something so important all fool for them. The fact is there was a vote, the government wanted us to remain, they did everything they could to persuade us it was the right choice but still the leave won. What is the adult population of the UK?
What % 15,188,406 of it?
I refer you to my previous response.

The government was even told to change the wording on the ballot paper because they were trying to influence the remain vote.
You wouldn't be coming out with this crap had the remoaners wonThe fact is you were incorrect that either vote produced a majority for the "winners".
I haven't seen the popular vote figures for the US election did crooked Trump get more votes than crooked Hillary?

Which part is wrong then? Please do point it out in black and white. The MAJORITY voted... did I say of the population, did I say of voters, someone likes to point out the table doesn't lie, well the table that shows who voted for what and who wins and loses doesn't lie eitherThe MAJORITY voted Brexit. The MAJORITY voted Trump. It amuses me slightly that the MINORITY think they are right. How does that work...
Why don't all the ****ing thick remoaners **** off to MAINLAND Europe and stop bleating because they lostFor those with the intelligence to want to circumvent the vote of the Great Unwashed, here's the way to do so. All we need is half the population retaining EU citizenship and we will be well on the way.

For those who got the answer wrong, you can also do it. Just in case you wake up in a few years time and realise what you've done |.

Stop ****ing moaning then and get on with itI want to stay here, doing very well thanks![]()
President GloryChippy you are so much like Trump... Trump says a lot of things for effect, he doesn't mean everything he says but in each sentence there is a snippet of truth. He feels passionate so he cuts to the bone to get a point across.

Ristac was talking about the english votes. What is the adult population of the UK?
What % 15,188,406 of it?

Oh, and I forgot to add for comparison, the english turnout percentages for the UK General Elections have not exceeded 65.8 since the 1997 election, so the Brexit Referendum was approximately a 25% higher turnout!Ristac was talking about the english votes.
The numbers are here for you to see ... http://www.electoralcommission.org....u-referendum/electorate-and-count-information
If you're too lazy to tot it all up (call it an educated guess), then allow me to give you some numbers:
Eligible Electorate: 34,582,866
Votes cast (Remain): 13,266,996
Votes cast (Leave): 15,188,466
Turnout: 82% (or put another way, in order to get a 50/50 vote, you'd need to get 66% of the 6,127,464 non-voters voting Remain, & 33% voting Leave - no chance!).
Interestingly, Yorkshire & Humberside voted 58% to Leave (only East & West Midlands voted higher - 59% each). London only voted 40% to Leave. Perhaps you could emigrate there amongst like-minded people if they won't let you in to Spain)
