Still waiting for you to show a source stating the HQ in Ireland is closing and moving to UK. It isn't and you know it isn't
The FB one is true but these are additional jobs, not a move from Ireland

The only reason they were in Ireland was because of the tax dodge - The European Commission concluded in early August that Apple must pay the Irish government up to €13 billion (£11.1 billion; $14.5 billion) in back taxes. What do you think is going to happen?

So you admit you lied - thanks
So you admit your dumb - thanks
Why do you think Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc are in Ireland, and why do you think ALL of them are building massive offices in London?
Deep breath and give us your answer![]()

Now, on a separate point, when we become the new British Virgin Islands offshore money laundering centre, of course the US multinationals who prefer not to pay any tax will think about coming here
It all depends if we win the race to the bottom on tax rates and turning blind eyes
With the Torys we may well do so
Not what you were saying though, was it? Nothing happened as yet, just people positioning themselves

No - What I was saying was that Irelands economic growth only came about because of their Advanced Pricing Agreements with company's like Apple, Google and microsoft the European Commisiion has ruled that these Agreements undermine the single market therefore the lure of Ireland is no longer.
As such, these big firms are now building big offices in London - we both know the reason
Eire didn't, but he does now![]()
The silence from Glory and 20/20 is deafening,I hate it when fellow Leeds fans make ****s of themselves and get shot down by a Wally.I do wish they wouldn't try to talk above their IQ.
When it happens you will be able to talk about it.
How many times are you going to have your opinions formed by the wallies. it's fecking embarrassing!
Not only did I vote to do what I want,I get to decide for you and 20/20 as a bonus, you will do as we say wont you.lolWhen it happens you will be able to talk about it.

No - The embarrassing part is yourself and 20/20 can't name a valid reason for wanting to remain.
Apart from 100 people in Wigan might lose their job.
The present arangements are far better than anything that has so far been presented as part of the post brexit master plan.
Whin i say plan. I am presuming there is a plan...
There is a plan, isnt there?
What is it?
You must know cos you keep spouting how great its going to be!
So what has been presented as part of the post brexit masterplan?

You tell me.
Nothing as far as i can see, and thats pretty much the point.
48% were broadly happy with the current arrangement. The 52% had any number of visions if what they wanted.
Soft brexit, hard brexit, return to the stone age... You name it brexiteers were for it in various numbers.
At the minute we are out with no plan and no vision. Aka up **** creek without a paddle. Hard brexit will mean the canoe also has a hole in it. As the picture clears this madcap idea will be nmasked and shelvd.

To clarify, you have not seen a plan therefore to claim that the present arrangements are better is ridiculous. The current arrangement is ****!!
The free trade deal under the EU involves 55 countries with a combined GDP of £4.7 trillion - quite a figure eh?
Until you look at countries trading outside of the EU remit
By contrast, the total GDP of nations with which the mighty Chile has struck free trade agreements amounts to £40.9 trillion, with South Korea £28.6 trillion, with Switzerland £27.9 trillion and Singapore £27.2 trillion, including deals with some of the world’s biggest economies in each case.
About 90% of the agreements of these four smaller countries include services, compared to 68% of those negotiated by the EU
As the UK has a very strong service sector I think any deal will be much much better - so stop your fretting![]()
