Would definitely have Martinez

We need to be realistic, there is three weeks till kick off, we need a manager by mid next week at latest, this rules out anyone currently in a job.
that manager will have less then a week to assess the squad and bring in players. Given lack of cash the new guy needs to be able to use loan system from both UK and abroad, and be a draw to players.

Think we need a miracle

Guys, we know who it will be dont we.. who are the Allams going to pick? and who is stupid enough to think he can work with them..

Steve McClaren

Will there be no budget for a new manager or was it just SB who got no budget from Allam? Not saying there will be any money to spend but who is going to come to us in the state we are in?
the £18 million budget could all have been part of the plan to make Brucies job impossible forcing him to resign

I'm surprised to hear Phelan's going caretaker, I thought he would have walked. He must really want to prove himself as a manager if he stays. If he doesn't get it then he'll walk like at Norwich.
I'd take him, Giggs, McLaren, Martinez or Clement right now.
It'll be tough whoever gets it.

Derek Mcinnes could be a shout? I think a lot of the names mentioned would just be going round in circles. Mcinnes is a young guy who impresses me every time I see him by all accounts. Speaks well seems to know football well and has really improved Aberdeen.

Thoughts?

Is he the one who was at brizzle Tigers (not allowed to say city apparently)

if McLaren gets it I will **** Quill up his arse and then shoot myself in the head.
surely you ****ing numpties have a higher expectation than that.

I have higher expectations but with ****wit in charge who knows what knobhead we'll end up with?

Did Burns say on sportstalk that a high profile manager applied for the job 3 weeks ago?

He DID say ''high profile manager'' what he really meant was** that some ****ing pathetic low-life scummy **** with zero self-esteem had applied for wear dead mans shoes even before that man was dead .............. the **** him (whoever the **** is).

** I think that's what he really meant, reading between the lines n all that.

WARNOCK FOR HULL?

Neil Warnock is Sky Bet's early favourite to replace Steve Bruce at Hull, with the former Sheffield United and Rotherham boss at 2/1, ahead of Mike Phelan and Ryan Giggs at 3/1. Roy Keane is 8/1, with Steve McClaren and Tim Sherwood both 10/1.

<laugh>

I actually hope McLaren gets it now,but only till you do as promised, then he can **** off.

I just have the feeling that Ehab was unhappy with the way the team were playing towards the end of the season and just does not rate Bruce. I think he has forced him into this situation knowing that Bruce would walk and he will have someone in the pipeline waiting to take over and will give him a better budget. OR is that just too sensible. I am trying to think there is light at the end of the tunnel because it just seems very depressing to think that they had a big row and there really is no money and Ehab doesn't give a ****. I can't get my head around him running the club into the ground, pissing the supporters off to the point where the ground is empty it is just so stupid. I heard someone say today well we had all this handwringing etc when Barmby went and then we got Bruce and everyone was happy again. Think I'm trying to make the best of a bad situation and am just totally confused.

Question would city have had to pay SB if they had sacked him? i am not sure whether his contract had pay off on sacking or not ?
Just seems a bit strange that we have new owners circling who might have had another manager in mind, but didn't want to have to stump up more cash as soon as they took over to get rid of the old manager.
My guess is that the deal is just about done and apart from the SMC business this may have been in the back of the owners minds to move things along.
Maybe I'm just being to cynical or am I ???

I think normally if a manager is sacked they get payed off,if they quit they don't.Suppose it depends on the contract.
