The problem is Kemps, we do not know what's going on behind the scenes.

Which, honestly, I'm ok with. I hate speculation, would much rather just get told when it's done.

So, it's hard for us to say what Phelan is feeling or being.

It's entirely possible, the sale will be wrapped in a week, Mike's been told the new owners want someone else in/him/a few weeks to sort stuff out. He's been offered money/role/something else.

From the outside it seems like the owners think x about the fans, they're doing y to piss the fans off etc etc etc but the reality is, they don't see any need to share their business dealings with us, and why should they?

If it is the Chinese, I'm wondering how much they'll share with us when running the club. How much fan involvement they'll want. We might (hopefully) get concessions back, but it's more likely they'll just stick with what they're given for this season and concentrate on players/manager.
As of September 1st part of the membership requirements of the Premier League is for every club to have a minimum two meetings with supporters representatives (forums) in the season. This apparently is not an option. Unless of course we still have the same owners in which case they will likely call these meetings on the Friday and Saturday of the last week of the Premier league season. Perhaps the Chinese if it is them will be keen to get supporters onside and have these meetings sooner rather than later.

i dont understand what is going on

4 days till the first game, still no appointment, why not make phelan the manager? baffling
Allams won't spend a penny and they will say it's because of the imaginary take over that will take place interestingly after the window closes in September. September will come and go and the Allams will say they couldn't find a good home for the club and pocket all the Sky money.

The Allams will still be here, they will have two meetings with supporters of other clubs.

So?

OSC

Facebook fans forum.

Done.

It'd be nice to see proper fan engagement. It'd also be nice to see fans engaging with each other. All cliques. Stopping the sneering st other groups.

yep this season is going to be a disaster.. not selling to those americans was the final nail in the coffin and not we all witness this season unfold

i really think we should get behind the remaining players because it is not going to be pretty.. dead cert last

They have to meet the Trust, it's the specific group each club must include.
Oh right, didn't know that. That's surprisingly specific and forward thinking of the PL. So cheers for that Trusty Boy.

Anyhoo, these 2 meetings won't achieve cock all unless the owners, new or old, want them to, or want a different relationship with the fans.
