Saw these shots last weekend as well Bluey - was going to post them on the Jack forum, but my better nature came to the fore.:emoticon-0105-wink:

All looks very impressive, and I understand oxygen masks and binoculars will be available on request. I'm just waiting for a few pics when the seating goes in...........<whistle><whistle>

Me and my boy are going to move up there into the red seats ! and we are going to make a banner 'Vinnie Tans Red Army' should get us on the tele, as i will put my company name and phone number on the banner also !! meanwhile back in the real world

The highest I've seen football was at Old Trafford a few years ago when a mate & I went up to see a game as I was given 2 tickets. He said they were "quite high up", well they were right at the top of the stand you cannot see on tv. It was hopeless and really difficult to make out the players.
I've seen football in the Millennium Stadium and Wembley from quite high up but never as far away as at Old Trafford.

I went to the Preston v Bolton playoff final and sat in the very back row of the upper at the Millenium that was miles away but nothing compared to the top of Nou Camp Barca. Me and the Mrs were out there for a romantic weekend that just happened to be a CL week......... We got tickets at the back and it was like watching a 90's top view computer game (Sensible soccer, Kick off for anyone of my generation). Loved being there but it would be bollocks if that was your view every week.

Stevo - although I've never watched a game there, I visited the Nou Camp on a corporate visit back in the late 90's whilst in Barcelona on a potential customer invite. It was during the daytime and not for a match, but we were taken around the pitch and had a nice couple of hours taking it in and drinking local fresh squeezed orange juice.

The huge elevation of the stands was something I'd never experienced before, and sadly although hugely impressive, it left me a bit cold about supporting a team from that distance away from the pitch.

Maybe it was just being used to the atmosphere and closeness at NP, but I was honestly glad to get out of there.

I think people up there are going to have a problem with sun direct in their eyes.

Enough of a problem in the Nin at lower levels.

Hilts I've heard uncle Vinny is issuing complementary protection for those prepared to sit up there. Only one colour choice though

My 1st away game was 1970/1971 Tue 27 Apr Sheffield United 5 - 1 Cardiff City, 6 of us went up in an old Bedford van. It was packed and we were in the old cricket stand, not a good night.

But... I was hooked and did not miss any UK away games for over 10 years after that.

Remember that night as a 9 year old. Couldn't find radio commentary, and had to wait for the TV News at Ten sports section to be informed City had flopped in their attempt to get to the old first division.

Should never have sold Toshack <wah>

Never did like Trevor Hockey after that game.

Back to the thread subject - neat little vid. Pretty short but view it fullscreen for good effect. <ok>

Looking good Sparks, Talk on twitter (I know) is that the club has asked the contractors to use blue seats.
