Dunno, but I hope they're jungle fresh.
Are they salted or unsalted?
Dunno, but I hope they're jungle fresh.
Wonder how much those peanuts are??
I thought concessions has been reintroduced ?It's almost a mirror image of how the owners have dealt with the supporters.
Take the concessions .... discussed it ages ago, they (or their reps) have had meetings, supporters have raised questions or doubts and look what's happened.
They are salesmen/businessmen except they don't sell, they tell. Not everyone buys into that.
'Manager not keen ?'
'Find one that is'
Exactly, if Nige doesn't fancy it, I'm sure they'll be plenty of applicants cv's already in the 'in' tray.
I asked earlier, 'who's holding who to ransom here ?'
're. b). Gift, not loan. How many unemployed managers are out there with the experience to give it a go ( make a challenge for a playoff spot) with a bigger track record than Adkins ?
How many of (guess) that small number would want to work for an ownership who :
(a) don't seem to have any ambition other than to drip feed profit from player sales and
(b) collect a dividend from the loan they made to the club and
(c) don't realize player investment may actually help them move forward ?
Adkins is playing his cards right i.m.o.
A waiting game. What does he have to lose? The Allams find a new manager in the next couple of months. Nige is now available unencumbered with a contract.
If he ends up with a 1-year contract with HCAFC and things go tits-up, it will not be viewed by future employees as his fault as ownership didn't support him with a progressive recruitment budget & snookered him by selling key playing assets. Should another club come in for him during that first year, what does he have to lose dumping City ? Very little as he would not be viewed as a mercenary given the Allams' reputation.
Stick to your guns Nige.

Making a mess of it is their aim, so they're actually doing a very good job of it. We can't possibly put all of this **** down to incompetence. No, they know what they're doing and there'll be no let up until they get what they want.Yes.Well done.
But hasn't the process further demoralised the club and it's supporters, in the same draining way that the renegotiating of Adkins contract has?
Cost is so important to supporters, contract details so important to a manager.
Yet time after time after time, the owners make a complete mess of it.
Don't they?
The recruiting and retention of the manager should be the most important job in the club. Absolutely bob on. So why change or make it non straight forward, for one that is currently working well against all the odds.
For the sixth time of asking we have a summer of upheaval..
Pearson. Barmby. Bruce. Phelan eventually. Silva. Slutsky.
All of them appear to have rejected the owners abrasive form of negotiation. All of them have a vision how they want the club to move forward, but are stymied by the owners.
Silva's parting words were the club needs to do its business early for the next season. Who has listened to that? Certainly not the owners, because here we go again. Last minute panic buying. The owners are presiding over a farce of their making.
There will be a long list of chancers, desperados and no hopers in the queue to be next Hull City manager, and the quality of manager diminishes further.
A **** up of the Allams own making.
Nige himself said it needed sorting surprised it’s gone on this long. Although I think this might suit one party because its the perfect excuse not to recruit playersI suspect there will have to be a decision today surely, this cannot rumble any longer?

You don't know that. No-one knows what contract Adkins has been offered. It has been on the table for weeks unsigned.Exactly, they are always looking to push the blame onto someone else, usually the supporters, but in this case the manager.

Chazz is spot on, Adkins should either sign it or bin it. This delay is not good for the club.
