Rob Dorsett should get the sack for that.

Atrocious journalism if that's the case and Nige is still the manager.

They shouldn't make a statement because Dorsett dropped a bollock.

Well Rob Dorsett can now join Ian Stringer sitting outside of Nigel Pearson's interviews

It will just be Nigel Pearson, Rob Tanner and the in house media at this rate

The future of Nigel Pearson as Leicester manager is unclear after reports suggested he had been dismissed by the club.

Sources early on Sunday evening had claimed Pearson had been sacked but there was no offical comment from the club to confirm this.

Sky Sports News HQ reporter Rob Dorsett said: "It’s a very confused picture at Leicester City and the future of Nigel Pearson remains unclear.

"A source has told me that, as far as he is aware, Pearson is still the Leicester City manager and he also added there are no imminent plans from the Leicester hierarchy for that to change.

Official Statement

Leicester City Football Club would like to clarify its position relative to its manager, Nigel Pearson.
Contrary to media speculation on Sunday evening, Nigel remains the Club’s First Team Manager. Reports to the contrary are inaccurate and without foundation.

Nigel, his staff and the first team squad are entirely focused on Tuesday night’s trip to Arsenal and our continued efforts to secure our position in the Barclays Premier League.

1 thing the owners learnt from tonight though is the real fans are fully behind Nigel Pearson

Yes he has made mistakes but we still have a chance of staying up and even if we do go down Nigel is the best man to get us back up
