Im starting to get a bit worried about him now, I know I've only seen him in pre-season but he cant seem to win a header and never get service into his feet, he is getting frustrated and coming in to cm to get the ball, we desperately need to bring in a creative midfielder to give him and Fryatt some service or like last season we will barely score any goals and it will be a waste of 2.6 million!

Anybody else who has seen him play feel the same way?

He's spent his time in the Swiss and German Leagues. He'll find his feet for our game soon enough. He's even in my Phones4u Fantasy Football team! ;)

I haven't seen him, but what you're saying sounds about right. Neither Barmby or Pearson addressed the situation, so I'm really hoping Brucey does.

Koren is 31 and nearly out of contract, so it's not as if we can rely on him forever!
 
Does anyone still think we slightly overpaid, I heard somewhere his old club only put a 1.5M price tag, 1.1M is a big jump and alot of money from what was first considered, I'm not saying he's not worth it i'm just saying perhaps we went a bit Man City like on the transfer, if we negociated better we could of got him for 2M

Not doing enough in a reserve team pre-season against Doncaster?

I can't believe anyone is judging his value before he's played a single competitive game.

Nah. There was FC Thun interested as well - I think. Needed to outbid them.
 
Didn't it say we were playing one up front tonight as well?

There's no way we'll be playing one up front with that group of players during the league.

It's fair enough to comment on what his strengths/weaknesses may be this season, but to question any further than that is too much IMO.
 
might take him time to settle, cant judge just yet, must admit i was hoping hed stand out a little bit against donnys defence for his price tag, he just looked uncomfortable..
hopefully will come good in the real matches..

To be fair against both Rochdale and Doncaster he was playing against big 6.6" + centre backs
