Can of worms time. Which, if either are right? Both? Should it be St James's Park?

I'd say Newcastle's is wrong, as the park doesn't belong to St James. :bandit:

I don't know this history of said ground but hypothetically, it would be right if the stadium was built on former parkland that had been named in honour of St James.

Pedants corner. The ground names are not actually identical. Exeter's is St James Park and Newcastle's has now been returned to St James' Park after its spell as the Sports Direct Arena. Too much time reading the Rothmans Annual in my youth!

The good thing is that they are old style names that have been around for ages, rather than some sponsor name.

My memory's no good, but I think it was one of the games we played them before that where a copper went round the stand finding out where we'd parked, and then went over to the home fans to let them know if anyone of us were away from the main groups so they could say hello.

It wasn't 1979 I know that much.

Jordan Rhodes must be pissed off, he is on the bench tonight, can't even get a game in the cup. After all that delay in him getting away from Blackburn, for it to turn out like this must be gauling.

Accrington have just knocked out Burnley, Fulham knocked out Boro. So that's two PL teams not in the draw.

Wouldn't mind Accrington away again, another chance for the kids and a probable welcome rest for our first teamers.

Shrewsbury away.

I wouldn't mind that one either Ben, their new ground would be a tick - I always enjoyed visiting the old place, particularly recall a late 80's game when we beat them 3-1, Sir Keith scored a couple, recall a real tonking there in our ''great escape season'' too.
