Managers we’d be linked with 1 month ago if Bruce was sacked:

Tony Pulis, Sam Allardyce, Roy Hodgson, Neil Warnock, Munse’s hairy arse.

Managers were now linked to:

Erik Ten Haag, Roberto Martinez, Lucian Favre, Paulo Fonseca, Munse’s hairy arse.

None of us can complain really.

Just had a WhatsApp off a mate who lives in Naples “Rumour has it round here lad that Gattuso is travelling to Newcastle this week for an interview till the end of the season, good luck”

I am going to go out on a limb here and say no one actually knows nothing.

It could be that every manager and his dog is saying no way “Jose”

No one actually knows nothing means that someone knows something!

Will have to stay tuned for the next instalment tomorrow I guess, oh and another episode of Munse’s hoop tips ! Seriously wish I hadn’t ****ing clicked on this thread before going to kip, that’s gonna ****ing haunt my dreams now like!!

Latest guff from the gossip column:

Newcastle are willing to offer Ten Hag a salary of £6m-a-year after tax but the Dutchman, 51, is reluctant to leave Ajax. (Mail)

Newcastle have also not given up hope of luring back former boss Rafael Benitez, with the Spaniard, 61, now in charge at Everton. (Football Insider)

Former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca, 48, is prepared to accept the manager's position at Newcastle, but the club's new owners are still mulling over their decision. (Fabrizio Romano, via Chronicle)

Ten Hag seems unlikely and seems to want to stay in his cushy job in Ajax, and I doubt Benitez wouldn't be that ****y as to leave Everton after 8 games. If Fonseca will accept get him right in there already.

Rumours seem to be that Rafa wouldn't take much convincing to join us as a club, the issue seems to be that he doesn't want to uproot his life on the Wirral again.
