A bit of fun with managers names and meanings

Howe - a hill
Fonseca - a dry well
Fabre - a smith (blacksmith etc)
Gerrard - hard or strong

God I can't wait to see the back of Bruce... Listening to his lies about changing things, or taking time and balance for 2 years and never once had it looked like a work in progress..

He just lies to us.

I think it looks pretty nailed on

He's got to be better than the current idiot..

Spurs wanted him, couldn't afford him. I think it's a poetic appointment, if nothing else.

And, yes, he's a dynamic attacking manager; you will see structure, patterns of play, focus on the narrow and a proper higher press. If he comes in, the lift will be immediate. Palace are ok, but beatable. Under Bruce, we lose. But a bounce and a bit of attacking impetus, we could win.

Bottom line is I'd be 100% behind this guy. As I think most if not all of our fans will be. Less divisive than Howe, Gerrard, Lampard, etc.

I made this point elsewhere. I think he lies everywhere. I think he cons people so they believe he's a nice bloke, so they buy into the "hard done by" story, when in reality he's just crap.

Seems a character too and imo that's very important

He has the worst vocabulary I've ever come across and that tells you alot about a person.
