Why the **** is Eddie Howe suddenly 5/1?

In about 6 hours, Conte has reach 1/14 with some bookies for Spurs job. In three weeks (and counting) we might be welcoming Eddie Howe.

Howe would be ok imo.. Knows the league and Bournemouth did play proper football.

None on the list wouldn't be a huge upgrade on the ****e we've had the last 15 years.

Not how I see it.

I would hate to see Lampard or Terry appointed, that would be deeply underwhelming. Disappointing, in fact.

Howe, personally I don't think so. Went down with a better squad than this Newcastle shower. Seems a bit naff, as I've said, I could see Howe under Ashley he's that uninspiring.

Emery, Favre are both big steps up in class, fully behind those two as appointments.

Fonseca, no idea, but something not quite right there, can't put my finger on it. Was "too attacking" for Spurs, wtf is he going to do with Shelvey and Fraser in mind?

Martinez, jury would be out completely but I'm not liking the thought of him doing a dual role in our current plight - last thing we need is him ****ing off to a WC fixture and Jones taking charge, we've seen how that works out. Also really don't like how Belgium are set up - seems like they get wins purely on strength of team rather than tactics.

Nuno would be I think reasonably safe, but again would come with question marks and is he ready for a huge change so soon?

Gerrard, all I'm thinking is he's after the L'pool gig.

It's a tough call - the sooner they make it, the sooner we all accept it/deal with it/celebrate it, the better.

What I know is that the fans will criticise this guy the minute he makes a selection they dont like.

We might get worse before a get better.

It doesn't matter who they bring in there's going to be fans moaning. I foolishly believef that this takeover would unite us, but unfortunately people have no patience and no faith in the new owners.

I'm not sure it's possible to get worse than we are.

The thing is they have to learn to play a certain way and that might see us get worse.. It happened at Liverpool for example.. I mean it might see immediate improvement, but im prepared either way to back the new regime.

Give over.

If they take THIS long to then end up with an out of work nobody like Terry, Lampard or Howe then what the **** did they wait three weeks for?! I think the fans would be right to be annoyed at that.

You slagged Howe off for months when we were linked under Ashley, now your tune has completely changed.

You have zero opinions on anything.

If you recall I changed my stance on Howe after watching a training video.

It's also a new regime not Ashley.

I won't be complaining the issue I had is removed and its far too soon to be moaning.

bloody hell

we need a thread for just your opinions, it would be 5000 pages long.

Then whenever anyone is about to use the board they can just pop into there and see the recent updates to your opinion on things.

Sure, I get your point of view and for the most part it's correct. It's more a case of splitting up with some horrible bint but you're never really out of the shadows til your next partner is definitely better. It's the only way to be sure.
