Dave Challinor is the only one on that list that i would take! but think that he is going elsewhere, because how fast our top Management act we have lost out on the former Lincoln manager (can't spell his name) we need fresh blood and i would give Fuchs a chance, But please please Rudkin don't even entertain RM you have fu#ked up so many times! and this will be a big no no with the fans! but as 93% of the fans want you gone you will probably do it just too pi## us off even more.
Ideally I would like to see a manager who could be with us all the way from the third tier right up to the Premier League - and preferably over the next 3 years. That might seem a tad unrealistic but Ipswich have managed it, so why not us? For me that would rule out all but Neil Lennon from that list. As Jambawamba says, Christian Fuchs has also been mentioned. He's another one who has played at the highest level and maybe has some desire to try and lift us, but his management experience is limited. What does the latest AI pundit reckon?
Please not Russel Martin. We’ve tried the possession based, slow build up approach with Cifuentes and it’s obvious we can’t play that way. His last foray with Rangers went well didn’t it. It really is a minefield who to go for, but someone with league one experience is vital, someone who knows how to approach the teams we’ll be playing next year and to drum out the superiority complex we seemed to play with last season.
Robins out of that list. Has done great things virtually un-noticed.

Whilst it was more of a cameo, Fuchs did incredibly well at Newport - they were in free fall when he came in and he also had to cope with losing Braybrooke, who had been their stand-out performer...
Not content with getting us relegated to league one the board want us to have a crack at league two now. This is as about the worse appointment we can make. Slow build, possession based football. Don’t they realise we can’t play that way?
By the time the next season starts the playing staff might be quite different to the incumbents from last season so might be able to play a different style. But that still doesn't provide a plausible reason why the board should install Russell Martin as head coach/manager or even tea-boy. What is the appointment based on? Where is his success record? Southampton have gone from strength to strength after ditching him, and he lasted 123 days at Rangers where he holds the proud record of worst permanent manager in the club's history. If he gets the job and fails then all it will prove is that we have the worst board in our club's history.

I’m really not convinced, but happy for him to prove me wrong. If he continues with his approach that he’s used at his previous clubs I can see us calling for Rowett back, but he has a clean slate at the moment.
The thing is, we are a league 1 side now so no "big" name was going to come to us.
He got the Saints promoted from the Championship, so we have got to back him.

Not my choice, but have to support him! and hope that the board also support him a lot more than they did the last few managers we have had here should he fail, i hope Rudkin will do the right thing and Resign.
