So according to what I've read, mowbray is a boro fan, hates us and is a cheap useless appointment.
However he appears to have done very well at Blackburn last year, whilst receiving plaudits for an attacking style of play and doing well with young players.

His contract expired and he chose not to renew.
They were 6 points off playoffs last year, and would have made that had they not lost the last two games.
Is he? He appointed Neil who turned out to be brilliant. He signed Stewart, Winchester, Clarke, Cirkin, Bathh etc
Or does Speakman only get involved in the things that go badly?
I wasn’t keen at first but after reading a bit more about him it’s surprised me how well he’s done.
Blackburn were decent to watch under him and he’s brought some young players on a tonne.
It’s not the route I expected us to take but I think he’ll be ok.
Got them out of L1 at the first attempt and finished 6pts off the play offs last season
I'd call that somewhere
5 years at Blackburn.. By that statement six points off the play offs, should we reinstate Jack Ross? Lee Johnson?

I’m 100% behind him just on the basis it stops proctor and Dodds being in charge for a match 
Completely uninspiring but I'll give him a chance. I actually like the players we have at the moment look like they will give it everything and seems to be a togetherness amongst them so hopefully all Mowbray needs to do is coach not inspire.
Generally a new manger comes in and players are low in confidence used to getting beat and generally very downbeat. We aren't in that position as we haven't been terrible and sacked the manger. Our players seemed very together today we were unlucky not to score and got undone by a decent move.

If it is Mowbray, I'd be very surprised as I don't see him as fitting the structure. That being said, he'll be aware of it and will know that he has to work within it. Could well turn out to be a good appointment.
