Something Stephen Elliott suggested I think. Not sure there is more to it than that. Would agree though, and doubt he will coach again to be honest.
He's managing in India, I think. Massive no from me. I would have been really interested in Rooney had he not fooked off to the USA.

Gaizka Garitano?
Jose Luis Mendilibar?
Javier Calleja?

I don't know a lot about any of them but they play the kind of football that would fit.

Nope, it will be like the Neil appointment. He was hammered for it initially but by the time we were promoted he'd ha nothing to do with it, he was lucky that Neil came along to save his skin...
From the interviews with Neil after his appointment, he was not even on Speakmans data list until the lad actually applied for the position.. Where does that leave Speakmans data driven analysis system?????

To be fair I didn't even know he had any jobs in management thought he was part time pundit and full time property owner!

But still no chance. Liverpool fans love Fowler though, they have had some strikers over the years like. Imagine having the likes of Rush,Torres, Owen, Fowler, Suerez in the last 30 years and that is missing a few.

Whether we like it or not Speakman is eating at the top table, managers will follow the money. You can’t expect Sunderland to offer Neil what he wants. People forget there is a wage structure, he is probably being offered more at Stoke, than Speakman is earning here. You won’t get your gaffer offering you more money than he is on. Coaches will also want more money because they wouldn’t want the disparity to expand

That Liverpool side in the 80’s was something else

He just felt a bit smug to me, like as if he wasn’t arsed and knew best.

Ill watch again I watched it early doors this morning and was hungover tae ****.

All he said means nowt if it’s Mowbray.

Not his worst interview. But definitely you could say he was on the smug side. I doubt he can help it. He didn't look particularly arsed at the match yesterday either, though that means little.

As many have said, his work at recruitment is first class and more. You cannot say that about his extended duties.

To be honest if he looked all gloomy and like he was thinking what the **** has happened and what the **** am I going to do he would get slated for not having a clue!
