For me, we all hated league one, every single one of us, the officials, the time wasting, the skullduggery, the away fans and we are out of it thank goodness, I think a sensible plan is to slowly build the last thing we need would be an accidental back to back promotion as we would just have another horrific season worse than the 15 pointer, I want stability, consolidation and steady progress, Mowbray for me will be ok in the interim but we should be sounding out the likes of bielsa
According to people I know that have links to the club( I know **** all and they probably don’t either) he’s up here quite a lot so there may be nowt in it.
My opinion on him signing would be, if the present coaches are still here and he fits in with the set up we’ve got then crack on. As with any group you don’t need to individually be the best but be the best team available.

It’s just been on ssn again mate his averages etc 1:44 points per game over 400 games

I wonder if they have been aware of the fact AN wasaking moves behind the clubs back. Wonder of someone grassed him.up after stoke last week.
The club will have known mate. They always do. It isnt like Alex Neil has been subtle in his words last few weeks. I will keep saying it, he did a brilliant job, but he has lost all credibility in my eyes. He knew the job when he took it was to be a coach not a manager and he thought the club would change its approach for him but they have not budged. You can see that with Michut in the stands today. He hasnt got the control he wanted so has gone somewhere he will. Fair enough in some ways, but the club will have had in mind he will either leave or be sacked for a while I reckon. Doesnt follow they can appoint today of course, at least in theory they are legally obliged to follow a transparent recruitment process.

So we’re bringing in a manager with a proven track record in championship, of known temperament, who can stabilise the club. Not very exciting but quickly sorts out a problem to allow us to complete the transfer window to plan.
Not enamoured with Mowbray but can see the logic in trying to keep this season on the rails.
