12 points. 3 wins. 3 draws. Every time I guess this year, I think I am being optimistic but it turns out I was too pessimistic.
The way man city and utd are erratic plus were at home I'd be disappointed if we lost those Wow how times have changed
Win Leicester, Villa and Burnley (no game is a cert) would be a terrific start. Get a minimum of 4 points from other 3...happy days. Any more would be fantastic.
Last year when we played Man Utd at home I wrote on here that it was just about the first time we have played them as equals. Even our famous wins have been as underdogs. This year, dare I say it, we start as favourites, although I guess that could change over the coming weeks.
Important thing is to realise that it is possible to lose games, but a loss doesn't mean the beginning of the end. Just move on and win the next game.
Leicester (H) W Aston Villa (A) D Man City (H) D Arsenal (A) L Man Utd (H) W Burnley (A) W 11 points. Will do me.
8 points!!!... We won't be able to challenge for title with results like that! Quite annoyed that I have to work Saturdays...
As someone said, we really need to beat Leicester, villa and Burnley if we want to continue our upward curve. The other games there are a bonus really. If we come out of these six with more than 9 points, it would be dreamland in all honesty. But let's not get carried away, no games are easy in this league and Leicester will be a tough test.
A fan on the Leicester forum was hopeful because they often do well against the better sides. Any team can lose a game, but it is pretty important to win against Leicester, Villa and Burnley as baseline. The team will have had a rest since Hull, so hopefully we'll have a good performance.
