    Nice try brb.
I think you know that a new stadium is not just about capacity, it is also about extra revenue streams, access, parking.
Even if attendances remained the same the ease of getting to and from the ground should be improved, I for one won't miss the long walk from the car park along dog turd alley. The addition of an hotel with gym and spar facilities would increase non football revenue and increase the budget for players, yes we could just invest in the current ground but the return on the investment would be low.

I might actually take up supporting AFC (Gillingham B Team), full to the rafters every week in a proper size ground <whistle>

there you go, grumpy - making assumptions that dogs are responsible for all the turds in the alley - with all the other sh1t in the alleys of Gillingham, I wouldn't be surprised if alleys are not used as public toilets - - why is the ground wet on a sunny day ?

I think you will find Charlton are in their original ground, poor parking, no extra revenue streams, only plus side is the proximity to the rail line, it gives the supporters something to look at and get excited about rather than the boredom of watching their team. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Dont need new ground if we ever get to prem as income is not necessary with all the tv money up to 100million per club.:emoticon-0128-hi:

Or alternatively that could self fund the new stadium at Mill Hill?

That's it people, I've sorted out our finances. We need to get to the premier league that way we can pay for the stadium!

Oh how @brb would love that <laugh>
