Di Marzio’s saying the Google deal could be completed soon. Looks like after years of various rumours this one’s actually a goer.

I saw this on the Nottingham Forest website -

Arsenal (A) - Executive trip.
We depart the City Ground before heading to the impressive Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a 3-course meal in the H Club and an interview with former Red Jason Lee, before joining 3000 Reds in the away end at the Emirates Stadium. Adults £240 plus vat.

Nice one Levy<ok>

I wonder if new WHL could offer some kind of
"meal deal" where you could bring a lot more away
supporters together for when they are visiting them lot.

So now we're nicking fans from their actual games?! <laugh>

Well, potentially nicking revenue from them +
making money when Spurs are not actually playing.

Dunno whether away supporters still mainly travel by
coach as in days of yore, but imagine you could travel
such to a place nearby, get a decent meal/drink
pre-match at a reasonable price.

Introduce a few mutual ex-players to incentivise it and you're onto a winner.
Michael Dawson would probably go down very well with the Forest fans, for example.

If the price was amenable, would Spurs supporters
be willing to gather en masse at new WHL to watch Spurs
away games in say the PL and CL, or would it have
to be for things like cup finals when you cannot get tickets ??
Good question...
I imagine there would be a take up, but probably insufficient to warrant opening part of the ground and providing stewards and events management staff to run it.

I went to the CL final ant the stadium and it was a lot of fun. Great atmosphere in the bars before the game, less said about the match the better, of course. Personally I think the demand wouldn’t be there unless it’s a cup final but it was a good experience on the day and if I was still in London I’d definitely do it again.

Better than the pub I watched it at, where the only noteworthy thing was the Mouser livestreaming himself watching the match got his entire stream demonetised due to my stream of invective towards that ignorant **** ref...

We have done something similar for our own fans in the past. I went on an away trip to a match at Anfield where we had a meal at and a tour of Goodison Park
