Hey, quick follow up post. I bought a couple of programmes today but I stupidly left them somewhere.... Possibly somewhere at Euston station, do you think I'd be able to get a spare one from the club, and if so, whom would I contact?

David Ornstein reckons we’re in talks with Google over stadium naming rights.

We should name the stadium “Google It”.

“Oh so what’s the name of your team’s stadium?”
“Google It, bitch!”

The stadium has now successfully hosted NFL, boxing, both rugby codes and some big name concerts. The only problem was the stupidity of Guns 'n' Roses insisting on using their own sound systems for the first night. So, it all works very well and is attracting repeat business.

The NFL people have already contracted to play more games at the stadium. Yesterday, I caught the last 5 minutes of the game and the possibility of a permanent franchise cropped up again...I wouldn't be surprised if ENIC aren't also fielding enquiries to buy the club. Given how weak the pound is against the dollar, now's the time to do it.

UK hockey were very pleased with their event too.

I wonder if you could put down a temporary "hard" base
on that pitch so that you could try and host sports
such as badminton / basketball / tennis in the summer.

On the commercial sector, I don't know how suitable
new WHL could be for hosting business conferences
(train connections to the airports etc would be far
more convenient than it is for say Excel etc) .

I know some people who have already been to business events there. Good feedback and they clearly have the space to do it.

I was pondering whether new WHL could physically
accommodate events at Excel such as TechXLR8 2019,
without having to close down a significant proportion
of the restaurant facilities available ro match day attendees.

I don’t know about big expos or anything like that. Maybe you could use the pitch? Weather dependant obviously. But for seminars and such they clearly have plenty of space designed for it or easily repurposed.
