TalkSHITE are trying to give traction to a story that...

"Tottenham Hotspur fail to pay Christmas wages to electricians working on their new stadium."

Having boomed out the headline, the news reader then slunk away like a salted slug with...

"The electricians are not employed by the club but by XYZ Ltd. who say that the non-payment arises from a failure of contractors to submit invoices."

<laugh> you stupid bastards! IT'S STILL NOVEMBER, IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS AND AS THEY'RE SUB-CONTRACTORS NOT EMPLOYEES, IT'S NOT WAGES!

You'd think the news of the stadium nearing completion would be warmly welcomed by Spurs fans

But then you remember the dickhead fringe exists...

So this is the only remotely accurate part of that sentence......

‘Electricians working on their new stadium’

God work lads! <laugh>

Impressed that ‘James’ appears to have found people for whom the term ‘div’ applies more appropriately than himself. That must have taken extensive research! :emoticon-0148-yes:

Does this count towards the legal tests before opening? Does this also confirm security issues are repaired, subject to testing? Only 3000 at a time is not a realistic test, but could be a prerequisite to going on to bigger more realistic test events?
As far as I recall its 3 test events rising in attendance to obtain the safety certs required.

Not sure if anyone has seen this from Mr AV, but combined with Chris Cowlin's weekly update it gives a extra dimension to how close we are.

Some posters on SSC have been saying that next week will see some further news from the club and it ties in with the stated intention to put out newsin early December. Let's hope that it's positive!
