Are the outer limits of the roof glass? i.e. will let sun light through. There is nothing more annoying that having three quarters of the pitch in shadow in late spring/early autumn like at Old Toilet and many other stadiums.
Sodding heck. Both internal webcams are just streaming a blacked out image. I want to see the grass go in live. Swines!
They did point out that this would happen in order to make way for the 'heavy moving equipment'. Personally I think that this is bullsh!te, they just want to be able to unveil a fully laid pitch all in one go, because it is going to look fekking stupendous. A bit like opening a Christmas present and it's something that you have always wanted.
I'm looking at the time lapse photos every 15-20 mins - it's better than nothing and you can see a a football pitch being born
The official line is it's because they're moving machinery around It wouldn't surprise me if it's to guarantee a rush of people checking the live feed when it goes back up, boosting the Youtube ad revenue...
Half the pitch is down now. Several guys out using rollers and cutters on the laid turf. Reckon the grass will be finished by end of Friday. COYS!!!
Looks like the pitch'll be finished by Friday So place your bets, what goes wrong next? Expensive Stoke's bus driver ploughs through it on the way to be late to yet another match?
They match the blue of our kit, while the seats at WHL essentially matched the blue of Chelsea's The one quibble about the seats I do agree with is the lack of any white seats to creating some Spurs-specific branding, within the stadium. Is a cockerel too much to ask?
Another team struggling with their stadium build plans...Shows what a great job we are doing even with delays and how hard a job it is: Bournemouth were 'overly optimistic' in plans to move into new stadium by summer 2020 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45743066
Maybe that’s why it looks weird to me. Surely they will have some white seats spelling out THFC or a Nike tick etc?
