They could've also added an option to just buy a ticket for all Wembley league games too, but I largely agree with you. The lack of seat choice at Stadium MK was a joke, though. No idea who thought that was a good idea.
On the other hand he has been optimistic all along - wrongly so in most cases. None of the building works coming to completion tells us if the electrics/safety issues have been resolved?
Working on the pitch tonight. Haven't done that for a while. Me thinks we might wake up to a green pitch in the morning otherwise it will be laid tomorrow
Th Sd ,Chris calls it as he sees it, if the club is not forthcoming with that sort of info then Chris will report on what he sees. The installation of pavements around the ground is a positive and Poch has made noises indicating something will happen well before Christmas.
Lots of pitch activity overnight and this morning. But does anyone know if the seating in the South Stand is complete as the levels at the back (left hand side looking at picture below) are uneven and it looks like a load more could be fitted in?

Historic moment as our new pitch arrives home 02 October 2018|Tottenham Hotspur An historic moment is taking place at our new stadium this morning. The first rolls of our new pitch are now being laid – something all fans have no doubt been looking forward to. The grass surface has been prepared in Holland, with members of the Club’s groundstaff based there over the past eight weeks to ensure the pitch was in optimum condition ahead of its arrival in London. The hybrid stabilised turf, reinforced by polypropylene strands, is similar to the pitch we had at White Hart Lane. The turf is being brought to the UK in 23 refrigerated lorries over the course of the next three days. Each strip of turf is cut at 2.4m wide x 12m long, with each roll weighing approximately 1.5 tonnes. The rolls will be lifted and laid by specially designed machines to accommodate the weight. Stay tuned across all Club channels over the coming days to witness the progress of this exciting milestone. You can watch the pitch being laid via our live stadium web cams throughout the process. Please note, it will be necessary to temporarily switch off some cameras intermittently as we move equipment within the stadium. We shall endeavour to restore all live camera feeds as soon as it is feasible to do so. https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2018/october/historic-moment-as-our-new-pitch-arrives-home/
Absolutely, I am not knocking him at all. I contributed to his fund raising partly out of gratitude for the effort he's put in. Just saying that his optimism has be weighed against the fact that the club are more secretive than MI5 and hidden issues could still be unresolved for all we know.
I agree. There's so much speculation and none of it's been right. Yes, some said it won't be ready for the Liverpool game but I don't recall anyone saying that the problem would be the safety systems. Since the delay was announced, there's been no sign of heavy overtime on weekends or Bank Holidays on the visible, unfinished parts that were used to indicate how far behind the build was running. Chris feels he has to offer an opinion and like everyone else he's been wrong to some degree. The laying of the pitch now probably indicates a greater likelihood of the stadium being ready to go before next season, than not. However, the club has said no announcement until they can guarantee delivery for that date, so, it's best to indicate any guess is just that. A complete guess.
Not only have we got one corner filled in, we've also filled it in to the approximate point where the ball will hit the first defender Also, I nicked this from r/coys... This may look like some turf is being laid. But that's not what you're looking at. This is a graveyard. This is a cradle. This is where teams will come to perish, to be snuffed out. This is where Tottenham will be reborn as a monster club. A club that destroys all opposition. A club that wins the league. Cradle, graveyard. Graveyard, cradle. The only difference? Which team you support.
Wait, where's the enormous gap between the pitch and the stands that every modern stadium seems to have?
"B-b-b-b-but it looks like a toilet bowl!!!!" - some bitter Goon with no friends Sorry, let me correct that... Lots of bitter Goons with no friends
