Excessive use of single-use plastics confirmed!

(It also confirms "a certain blogger's" claim that the seats weren't installed to be complete bovine offerings...)

Mickey Hazard loves the new gaff <laugh>

What this appears to show is that the seats are further along than the wide shots of the stadium appear to show, because from the angle of the photo above you can see that the far stand actually has seats - although the question that needs asking is why most of them are greyish blue while there's a smattering of navy ones as seen closer to the camera. The likely scenario is either they're placeholder seats that are being replaced, or that's what the navy ones look like under their plastic covering (which goes against the club's ban on single-use plastic in the new st/\dium...)

They all look the same colour to me. Just the sun hitting them

I think Croydon's right and it's the covering.
I guess that means that we have to keep hold of it and smother any annoying pricks with it, in order to avoid making it single use.
I think I'm ok with that.

Oh, i missed the part about the FAR stand. Yeah, that does look weird.
I thought he meant how the backs of the ones closest to the camera look sorta grey.

It's early here

Have some coffee, shoot something and then come back and try again. <ok>

If something's worth posting, it's worth posting 3 times...... <laugh>

But on the subject of Chris Cowlin..... He asked the club for permission to attend the next test event (it's a staff, family and friends event again). They turned him down! :steam:

His weekly videos have kept the rest of us fans up to speed on the new stadium - far more information than the club itself provided.

Very poor show - and hopefully there will be enough of a stink kicked up to get them to reconsider.

Shocking but that’s how clubs are these days.
