I'm sure he will get some game time tonight for the Under 21's He's still like 17 and we have really good strikers so can't see him breaking through yet even if someone gets injured I think there's 5 forwards ahead of him Lambert, Connolly, Barnard, Guly, Doble and if we get any strikers in this window I'm sure they will be ahead of him atm. On the other hand, If he continues to bang them in for the U18 and U21 I'm sure we will see him pushing for First team 2nd half of the Season.
 
I don't think Anton Ferdinand would cost that much as he has not been playing regularly and Sunderland must be looking to offload some wages and defenders after seeing O'Shea and Brown enter the club.

Transfer fee wise, I'm sure we could get him pretty cheap. £2 million max. But it's his wages which are the issue. Something tells me he's on quite a whack at Sunderland, and I can't see him wanting them cut too much.

A quick Google suggests £30,000 p/w. He won't be coming down (even if we were interested).
