Very reasonable concerns BUT it's nice to see a man holding up the scarf and knowing it actually means something to him! At least that's something.

Maybe he wouldn't sign for anything shorter? Maybe there is a relegation clause we don't know about etc etc. And if he signed a two year deal and then left when doing well next year we'd be up in arms they only did a two year deal. Not like the club has a strong negotiating hand right now.

I didn’t want to comment until he joined but I’m so happy to see Wild Thing’s back. We don’t know if he only has a plan a or if he can change styles to suit the players at his disposal but the one thing we can be sure of is every decision he makes (right or wrong) will be for the the right reasons. We can also be sure there’ll be no lack of passion.
    Welcome back Gaz.
Wild Thing, you make my heart sing

I hope there's a break clause here and with Critchley that can kick in after a string of poor performances etc.

Fancy not bothering to get a haircut for your new job. Best of luck to him, hopefully he'll pin a few against the wall to get his point across.

The clubs negotiating hand is limper than Larry Graysons...."Shut that Door Ferdinand"

maybe he looked at the basket case of a team we have and thought it’ll take me that long to sort it out.

The eleven + bench that he picks for Saturday will be interesting. Does he look at previous games or give everyone a clean slate? I bet Laird is fit and ready!

Which is what most on here were calling for.
Someone to put some passion into performances.

    I wish him every success.
Don't really care how we play between now and the end of the season, we just need to pick up points.

Reading some of the reactions from Wycombe fans, they seem to have a lot of respect for GA even though he’s left them.....and a lot debunk the “boring football” part. shows him in good light.
Also that him and Dobson are a good team. I’m genuinely excited

Why is it so hard to understand? Managers have zero job security, look at what just happened with Critchley, sacked after 12 games. We're hardly in a great place to negotiate.

You'd think he was some sort of footballing neanderthal the way some people are talking.

Genuinely feel we might have a small spark of excitement now.
