I’m apprehensive about Ainsworth coming, apprehensive he’s not the right man at this stage, apprehensive that if it fails he’ll lose his status among us who remember him fondly and finally concerned that reports of him not being a Les Ferdinand fan and vice Versa could damage the club even further.
Many of us were excited that we were getting a QPR man in as a DOF and couldn’t wait for him to bring the good times back, now most of us wish him gone and I fear the same thing happening with the “Wild Thing” !
Very reasonable concerns BUT it's nice to see a man holding up the scarf and knowing it actually means something to him! At least that's something.

Why 3 and a half years ffs?

Why don't they frickin learn?

Maybe he wouldn't sign for anything shorter? Maybe there is a relegation clause we don't know about etc etc. And if he signed a two year deal and then left when doing well next year we'd be up in arms they only did a two year deal. Not like the club has a strong negotiating hand right now.

I didn’t want to comment until he joined but I’m so happy to see Wild Thing’s back. We don’t know if he only has a plan a or if he can change styles to suit the players at his disposal but the one thing we can be sure of is every decision he makes (right or wrong) will be for the the right reasons. We can also be sure there’ll be no lack of passion.
Welcome back Gaz.
Wild Thing, you make my heart sing

He obviously demanded that length of contract, same as Crapleys ..It's their money so personally I don't give a monkeys tit.Lets hope GA can generate some passion and Heart into the performances,it's well overdue

The clubs negotiating hand is limper than Larry Graysons...."Shut that Door Ferdinand"

Which is what most on here were calling for.
Someone to put some passion into performances.

I wish him every success.
Don't really care how we play between now and the end of the season, we just need to pick up points.

Reading some of the reactions from Wycombe fans, they seem to have a lot of respect for GA even though he’s left them.....and a lot debunk the “boring football” part. shows him in good light.
Also that him and Dobson are a good team. I’m genuinely excited

You'd think he was some sort of footballing neanderthal the way some people are talking.

Genuinely feel we might have a small spark of excitement now.
