There will no doubt be quite a few good ones dotted around. They wouldn't be so successful if they didn't have appeal to a lot of people. Don't think they would appeal to so many if they werecall like Admiral Of The Humber though.
.........which like the wetherspoons in Henley on Thames is an hotel.

Been in a couple of decent Wetherspoons. One in Warwick and one in Stratford. Rather different to ones round here. Never been overly impressed with ones locally.
I quite liked the first one I went into in Cheltenham? Was on a Bruce Massey coach. Was called the Postal Order. I couldn't believe how cheap it was and it was a really relaxed atmosphere, before all the towny ****s cottoned on to Wetherspoons.

There's the odd decent looking place, but most of them are just like Admiral.

The ones I mentioned were very good. Only went in as nearby places were packed but would not mind going in them if I lived round there. The food in the Warwick one was very good from all accounts and in a good setting.

Haven't seen Bruce for a while. Is he OK?

Haven't be in the Henley on Thames one but I would think the pubnpart is better. Know a lad in my pub who stayed in Admiral when it first had rooms when he was doing a job in Hul and he was impressed with them. Drank elsewhere though.

When the bridge was washed away in Tadcaster. Smith wouldn’t allow a temporary footbridge to be put up on his brewery land to allow people access. He’s a bit of a cock.

I live in a market town with a Sam Smith's pub that Humphrey visited over 3 years ago. On seeing lads placing bets on their mobiles and running in and out of the bookies over the road he laughed his head off and closed it down the next day. It's still there, derelict, waiting for the multi-millionaire landowner to make his next move.

It's quite funny really, unless you're on the receiving end of his lunacy...
