well it looks like Bales has changed his mind and is getting together a consortium to buy City,hope its true but am not holding my breath again.

Whatever the figures surely Tan must be financially savvy enough to think ok I’ve invested into this for long enough and it’s now time to bow out. The counterpoint to that is he thinks the club is on the cusp of a return to the PL so I’ll keep my equity.
Us fans have no idea what is going on in the boardroom though. So we have to speculate.
Tan may want to retain some equity in the event of an upturn in growth but that’s fine as long as he relinquishes control BUT will he?
My concern is as undoubtedly the clubs value has diminished in the past few years will he he consider a sale now when the clubs stock is so low?

I don't think Tan will ever sell, until the Sala legal matters have been concluded. I believe September is the French court hearing, I wouldn't be surprised to see an out of court settlement.

The case probably represents one of the best opportunities for him to recoup some of the millions he's ploughed in...

Surely neither party wants to drag this out: it’s either going happen or it’s not; granted there are going to be sticking points & issues to resolve but with a sensible commercial attitude by both sides there’s a deal to be done.

Talk is that Bale has put a new bid on the table that is more than the club's worth.

If true, it'll come down to the size of Tan's ego.
If he's hanging on for the 'Sala money', hopefully a deal can be done to incorporate any win.

Dalman is part of our current problems, so I hope that doesn't happen.
Do South Africans have history of football ownership? Not sure about that.
I know Bale would only be a front, but at least there's a football man in there.
With Tan digging his heels in, I don't see any of them coming to pass.
