If Sandgaard hasn’t got the money, time & patience to unpick Duchatelet, I think it’s game over. The Belgian is a massive pain in the arse.

Those who wants Sandgaard to take over ESI's deal with Roland are asking him to guarantee losing a shedload of money. ESI only struck the deal because they had no intention of honouring it. Elfs always said Douchatelet would f*ck us in the end, and it looks as though he'll be proved right.

If the Dane becomes the latest to pull out then you have to conclude there is nobody serious out there who can conclude a deal with Duchatelet.

I've never quite understood how it affects Douchatelet's position if the club goes into admin. He won't get his £50m from ESI (he never was going to), but he still owns the Valley and stadium as well as Sparrows Lane.

If the council stay true to their word the grounds stay empty. What’s the point of that, Duchatelet!

It was always clear to me, no ambition on the pitch and redeveloping of St Truiden. He wanted to bring that to SE7 then hey presto along csme ESI.
 
I can see this as the beginning of the end of the Takeover. Dealing with Duchatelet is not normal. I can see the time when Sandgaard walks away. I can now only see administration.

Have if from someone that DOES know, that TS cannot do a deal for the property until the famous 7 have been sorted out.
As of yesterday, TS hasn't even spoke to any of them, and Roland WILL NOT deal with them!!!

Makes you wonder who is leaking all this false info.
Also makes you wonder why people that do know (there are several on CL that still talk to at least 3 of the 7) are not correcting all this BS from certain posters!!!

I know nothing, but doesn't whoever owns the assets also own the debt to the ex-directors? We were told that Douchatelet missed that when he did the DD, and it has been a thorn in his side ever since. MAYBE he has added it to the price to make up for his initial error.
