IMO Rowland will hold out for his £50m because that’s all he has left to cling to from his disastrous tenure. Whilst I would really like the new owners to own the Valley, I’m not sure I care to much about Sparrows Lane.
I know it’s my wishful thinking but I would love us to say to Rowland, stick the training ground up your arse, we have secured another site for a training ground and him to be stuck with land that will never get planning permission for development.

If the idea was to entirely redevelop SL it might be cheaper to start again on a new site.

@AllHellLetLoose would have a more qualified opinion on this
