Still going to be a bumpy ride but Sandgaard seems yo have a good head on his shoulders. It's going to cost him a few quid so I fon't see him pulling out rapidly if he gets his bid over the line. And RD may favour his old pal Murrsy. But he no longer owns the club so can't sell it.

There has already been a reasonable amount of spending at Sparrows.. 3 off 3G pitches, the training pitches (surface) have been upgraded to Prem League standard, new drainage has been installed, CACT have their base there, we part funded two 3G pitches at Footscray Rugby Club next door so have use of their 3G pitches as well. All that is missing is upgrading the buildings, I would have thought that a more likely scenario is that TS will try and buy SL to build new training facilities and rent the Valley for a while... perhaps a long while? 20 years?

You will recall that as soon as the ESI deal was on the table, I told you of the concerns I had heard from numerous people, lots of red flags.
There are none with this bloke, he seems kosher.
