As long as someone pays him the £17M that he’s owed first. After all we’ve been told that TS personally guaranteed the purchase of the ground and SL (that’s Sparrows Lane NOT Standard Liege btw) and that £17M is already overdue. Perhaps TS will complete the purchase and become our new landlord
I wonder how Roland would be affected by the club going into administration, which is always the spectre in the background.
[ I don’t think he’d care and it might even be what he wants. Even if he has no guarantees in place regarding the rent or purchase of his assets, if the club goes into admin he has two options 1) if a new buyer is found then enter into a new contract for the rent on either equal or better terms, or 2) If no new buyer is found, the club gets wound up and at that stage as neither the ground nor SL would be associated with a football club, he would undoubtedly get planning permission for vast amounts of housing and rake in a huge profit in doing so.
Hearing that Paul Elliott is involved in this consortium and will be on the board. Obviously needs a few quid after Richard Rufus stole mist of his savings.
We could have a poll to see at what point ITTV turns on these new owners. February 24 for me, as once the second transfer window has been and gone and we’re still languishing in the bottom half of the table!
Is Charlie Methven one of the new owners? I've totally lost track. If he isn't, the Wrexham forum will already have turned on them.
The only problem we have is that we have absolutely no idea who else is as well. At present the only named persons connected with SE7 Partners are Methven and Warrick plus a Cayman Islands registered company, for whom we have no details of directors.
We must know who owns the Club once the take-over is completed. Not just the front company. Fans should know who ultimately owns the Club - and therefore what the Club is being used for. Who might benefit from it. If that knowledge is not disclosed the EFL should reject the take-over.
