Been reading about it on Dick's forum. It's always been an unstable situation , TS putting money in Roland taking it out.

If it all goes wrong there's nowt we can do about it.
Even if TS has to leave because of business reasons that are nothing to do with CAFC, that's just the way it goes.
He would have had a go, and did the best he could.

Duchatelet is the cause of Charlton's downfall. Nothing's ever going to change that.
Certainly not gloating fans of other Clubs.

From what I can gather the future for CAFC is not looking good.

It may soon be necessary for Charlton fans to stand up again and defend our Club.
Take matters into our own hands.

You should reread the Grapevine posts on Dicks forum. Not great times but money markets in themselves are not much of a barometer.

    https://charltontalk.freeforums.net/

At first glance Dick's forum looks a little bit like ITTV.
    (slightly similar layout)
But it is actually nothing like it in content.

I've read something from CL reproduced on Dick's forum...
There is talk of the Club taking advice from Thomas Driesen :emoticon-0172-mooni and even maybe offering the little twerp a job.

    For pity's sake.
Who will we be getting back next?
    Lieven De Turck?
    Katrien Meire?
    Matt Southall?

There aren't many things that would make me turn away from Thomas Sandgaard.
Employing Roland's cronies again would be one of them though.
Is Duchatelet still interfering with CAFC?

AS long as Jacko watches the player and gives him the nod I don't care who recommends him. We've taken too many players who haven't been watched by any of our managers, and it looks like John and Castillo come into this category. Who watched Rocket Ronnie? Or Big Mak (who hadn't played for a year)? Curbs would watch a player 6 or 7 times, home and away, so it's not too much to expect, in spite of what TD says. One thing I learned from reading the thread is that there are some bloody lazy scouts around.

i read it too. wondered why people (and me for that matter) spared him valuable breathing time. the guy is a complete toe rag. nothing should be believed that he says. he was in paid employment by someone who was dismantling the club.

but, was good to see one or two of the self-proclaimed "better" fans get a slap down so not a complete waste of half hour.

I thought it was interesting to hear a different viewpoint. I fon't want him back, but that sort of data based scouting may have it's uses.

Stat scouting is here to stay, but it's fallible and so is old fashioned scouting. Depends who's doing it. If it's a Peter Taylor, or Bob Paisley, or Curbs you know you can trust it. But it's the manager who pays the price of poor recruitment, so it's ridiculous to sign a player without the manager checking him out.

Thanks for the kind comments about my forum. I forgot my password for this forum but I tried a few times to sign in and it worked on the third time. Nice to see TC still posts on here. I really would like to hate him but I quite like him. Good to see posts from Elfs.

Charlton Dossier have revealed that Chris Farnell has joined Laurence Bassini in his attempt to wind up Charlton. They promise more about it today.

See what scum these guys are.
For all his mistakes, it's only Sandgaard's lawyers that are protecting the Club from them.

    They will not succeed.
Nobody in the history of English football ever just got a court order to wind up a viable Club on some perverse technicality.
    It simply never happens.

And even if it did, Farnell and Bassini would soon be wishing it hadn't.
    What a couple of arseholes.
