Uh, the debt replacing the debt the club owed to the Allams?

What sort of circular logic are you trying to work?

As you indicated in your previous post, while we may have been debt free at the point of sale, the debt to the Allams was merely replaced with debt to a financial institution.

How do you know it is a debt to a financial institution?

If Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos bought us you would still be saying we are in debt by your logic.

What on Earth are you on about?

What are you on about? What financial institution are we in debt to? Acun's firm? Probably the only club not in debt to a financial institution in the PL or Championship are Norwich.
Going by what you are saying we shouldn't be celebrating as we are no better off than we were before.

Where did I say that? All I said was we still have a debt, contrary to what Urika seems to think.

Debt isn't inherently bad.

<doh>

What the hell has that got to do with if the club's debt free or not?
Because the cleared debt (whatever the final amount was) was simply replaced by a debt (of £20 to 30 mill) owed to Acun Media. That is what the balance sheet will show; 99+% certain. Don't believe me, then let's just wait until the next accounts are published. It really isn't complicated! Allam is once again twisting reality to suit his warped arrogant deluded mind, and unfortunately some continue to fall for it.

Its not us that doesn't get it.... Take your allam hating blinkers off and read the posts that have been made by those who know how finance works. The club might be debt free, it all depends how it's all been financed.

So, by your logic if Acun bought the club for £30 million and after bringing us a few years of great success sells us for £150 million you will say he has increased our debt by £120 million?
