I have listened to the Broadcast in full. It certainly doesn’t say awaiting EFL fit and proper persons test. The EFL have to approve the final deal agreed by both parties is what it probably implies!

So, IF we were to believe him, then a) the deal isn't done, nor b) EFL approval given.

I genuinely don’t know how it works, never having bought a football club (to be fair to all parties if it’s anything like trying to buy a round at the stadium it’s no wonder it’s taking a while!)
