The only person who says it’s awaiting EFL clearance was from @bbcburns who has heard that from other sources!
I can’t see anywhere we’re Ehab has said that is is the delay. Acun’s team working on Christmas Day to sort out mechanics of the finances?

He only loosely implied that.

 

I need to listen again then, it seemed to me he agreed that the hold up was with the EFL but said he couldn’t comment any more due to confidentiality clauses

Ehab clearly said that they are “awaiting approvals from the league” that’s not loosely implying, he then said he can’t go into any more details due to confidentiality
