Frying pan and fire comes to mind reading that HDM article. Nowt about the fans or city, just about 'flying the Turkish flag in English football'. Stinks of another 'me, me, me' vanity project. The Allams, ****s as they are regarding the club, are self-described 'community-people'. This guy just sounds like he wants a new toy to play with.

You can ‘self describe’ anything…it doesn’t make it right

They've invested quite a bit of money in Hull, especially hospitals and the uni. They're still ****s when it comes to football, but I really can't be arsed going from the Allams to some other tosser who treats owning a football club like his own personal fiefdom and vanity project.

Why else would you buy a football club? Its always been a vanity thing for successful businessmen - and a way to promote their other interests.

Only difference is the businessmen are international and genuinely loaded as opposed to local and relatively skint/recouping investment.

Source on that please. I was under the impression the Allams had a much higher net worth than this guy who wants to buy us.

I don't know/care what the Allams' net worth is but I do know they're small time as ****. They don't work with other people, they don't employ executives, City nowadays is basically just a back bedroom outfit ran by Ehab as a hobby. No passion, no drive, no real aims even. Club just exists and waits for the next academy product to sell.

We have no business worrying about who takes over the club, it just needs to happen.

That’s the spirit
You’re a bit late to the party though, I demanded he be ousted pages ago <laugh>

I don’t know anything about him really, and I think anyone who wants to own a football club is probably doing it for the wrong reasons…or they’re mad.

I do know about the Allams though, so on that basis I’d take the gamble
