The problem is, you can't have a sponsors name in the club name in English football, so they can't be called Red Bull anything.

The same rules apply in Germany, where they bought Leipzig and called them RB Leipzig, which most think stands for Red Bull, but it actually stands for RasenBallsport Leipzig, which was their original name (RasenBallsport means something like Lawn Ball Sports).

Thing is, any new owners won't have to go especially loopy in throwing money at us, just running the club sensibly and spending the 120m + PL money in a sane and sensible way should be enough to get us through the season, then it's a case of re evaluate each season. Just along the way making sure you don't **** the fans off, alienate the council, alienate pretty much anyone and everyone you come into contact with and come up with dumb **** stupid ignorant ideas. Pretty simple really.

The thing with Red Bull is that they don't **** around.
They do it or they don't, there is no half measures.
 
With a Bruce saying ten days, maybe we won't have too much more of this painful guessing game?

Something must become clearer soon.
 
He said he would take the next ten days to think about things.

Suggests that in a couple of weeks he will make a decision, by which time his decision may give some clue on where things are going...

Or it may just be a throw away, arbitrary comment and the time period may be not be deliberately relevant?

And ten more days of threads about will be won't he should be shouldn't he keep him bin him.

Is 10 days just the length of Bruce's holiday? Or the time expected for somebody to take over?

I think it was the time scale Bruce was looking at before talking to the owners about his future. It could be his holiday or it could have something to do with Assem Allam's illness. I don't know.

It looks like we are attracting serious bids and its just a question of waiting to see if we get sold.

It`s the Allam curse !!!!, I`m guessing even Brucie has had enough judging by his comment in his interview the day after at the hotel when he said we needed to get better on the pr side, seemed like a side swipe at the owners, but 100% correct.
