What a couple of results we have had, our form is 1 of the best in the league. We can rest Ings and we still win, surely we have well and truly turned a corner.

Glad the board stuck by Ralph and made the players aware they needed to improve, by and large they all have, the board gets a lot of stuck but they have done the right thing there for sure, and to think some wanted Ralph out, how could you!!

3 points and a clean sheet at home against Spuds!

Danny Ings scores again!

Clean sheet!

Unbeaten this year!

Upto 12th in league!

Goal difference now at - 13, same as Newcastle, 1 worse than Bournemouth(who look in serious danger)!

We have gained points from more games than we haven't this season, 11wins/draws v 10 losses!

Even Cedric played well!

With all the **** that's going down around the world these days, and in no way trying to minimise it, thank goodness for Saints lifting us out of all the doom and gloom in recent weeks. Taking 7 points off Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, something is going seriously right inside the club.

Ralph is looking very up-beat and happy with the way things are going. Hopefully he will be looking to extend his contract this time next year and we can look forward to much brighter times with that old Saints 'blood and guts' fighting spirit much in evidence. These past few seasons have been hard, bloody hard, but now much of the dead wood has been shipped out of the management side of the club things can get back on track.

If the players that really want to be here can take a lead from the likes of Danny Ings, JWP and more recently Jack Stephens regarding passion, belief and effort then we could well be in for an exciting ride. We might never be in the position of being able to challenge the biggest clubs in the PL but we can give it our best shot and take some big scalps along the way. Ralph did it with RB Leipzig and he can do it with Saints. Just give him the tools and have the club support him all the way.

I agree, kaito, we probably won't challenge the big established PL clubs, but given we took 7 points off 3 of the big six, we can dream

I was just thinking this, it's actually 8 points BTW as we got a point against Man Utd.

We were so very very close to getting 2 more points v Arsenal, close to 1 point against Man City as well so all in all I would say a very decent return v the top teams.

Just need to improve against the rest which we have now started to do.

A few key additions, and this squad could well finish in a very decent position, why not!

Having just watched the hour long YouTube video of yesterday's 'fans forum' I found it very encouraging.

The thing I took from it was when Ralph was asked if he would leave if one of the big clubs came in for him, he said that he is here for the long term and he has everything he could ever want here. Ralph was extremely frank, honest and open about what he wants to achieve with and for the club. It's well worth watching and confirms that Saints are on the upward curve. We are at the start of a massive re-building job and personally I don't think we could have a better manager to get us back to being a team that other teams fear playing.

Exciting times ahead, and here's a link to the video .....

A settled team and good run of form with some wins going into January and things could look very different as the table below the top four is very close as far as points go but our home form MUST improve and i'm not sure if this team can mentally overcome it at this time but a couple of wins at SMS would surely help to start with.

Well, that settled team that I was on about near the end of November (we were 19th) has worked and the team's mentality for home games is much improved with 4 wins 1 draw and just the 1 loss at SMS since then. Those two narrow wins against Watford (glad we played them before Pearson came in!) and Norwich were a massive turning point in the season.

The away form has never been an issue this season.
