Unfortunately, yet again money talks. Don't agree with bombarding TF as his hands were tied but surely all the clubs should be standing up to Nike.
A Twitter campaign aimed at Nike from fans saying they won't be buying shirts may make them take notice. Big firms can't ignore bad customer relations on social media.
From Nike's perspective, I just don't get the commercial thinking that went behind this. Shell out £45m to get the rights to make the kit. And then create a kit that the vast majority of fans won't buy because a) it looks like it's been designed by a bipoloar gibbon and b) next year we'll be getting our club's identity back with a kit that's truer to our heritage. So that's a year's worth of revenue they've stiffed.
