Never found 4chan interesting personally. It started off reasonable though I suppose. But then the 'no rules, anything goes' idea showed its major pitfall as humans did what they do best: ruin everything they touch when en masse.
I've only had the displeasure of catching a glimpse of mild CP on /b/ once and it was took down within minutes.
Personally, I prefer the discussion aspect of it as opposed to "Tits or GTFO".

Only a few weeks ago, a kid posted nude pictures of "his teacher" bragging. To prove they were legit he posted a screen cap of his fb but forgot to censor it.
Thousands of people ratted him and the teacher out to the school and he came back then a lot of other lulzy stuff happened which is too long winded to explain.

Yes i did get banned, for no justifiable reason, i wasnt ever offensive, dont think i ever even used a swear word in my entire tenure. Its a shame really, you challenge the hierarchy on an internet message board and certain people gang up on you for having a different stance. Then rather than try and intellectually out-manouver you with some good quality banter, the especially "butthurt" ones send private messasges to the mods requesting for you to be banned because they cant see past their own egos.
I enjoy posting here and the clique mentality wont ever go away, as long as i dont voice my opinions too frequently or fervently hopefully they will leave me alone, its a good board, its just a shame certain members are overly anal and take themselves too seriously, but i guess its just a reflection of society in general really.
