I'd be happy to do it, as a share with someone else, it would have to be a share as, quite frankly, i wouldn't mod anything, as i don't get offended.

I'd suggest someone like mackems rule, and would be happy to help out, ie if he wanted a second opinion on something, or if there was some conflict, i'd gladly wade in and help out.

So yeah, i'd do it, and can i go on record and say i appreciate being put forward, nice to know people appreciate and enjoy your views <ok>

Right guys read through all the comments and have to say I'm one very proud Mackem, not for the nomination but for the reasoned debate on a mod.

I thank all for putting me forward.

Even though it may say I'm logged in, it doesn't mean I am actually here, as I just leave the forum open in the background.

I honestly think we can self moderate, but as Syd has done a Bent Carol on us, we will need someone with the Mod power for emergencies.

I agree with BruceysBeak maybe a couple of us with the "power" and if there's a dispute it can be discussed and decided on. ( On that basis I would agree to mod! )

The only reason I could see for banning someone is either blatant racism or posting CP.

Warnings for personal attacks and over the top abuse.

Big-Chris would stay as he is like the board whipping boy, as long as we have him there's less chance of fighting among ourselves. <ok>

Ok, well you be the 'mod', as it were, and i'm happy to acts as a kind of consultant.

I can't see either of us banning much mind, we're more likely to go after the poster with verbals ourselves!
