Not happening though. Pops is also surely "part of the problem" as he doesn't spend inordinate amounts of time on here. Had a conversation where I asked him a question and it took him 2 days to come back. Is that not precisely what you said my issue was in a previous post?Harsh? I'm not having a go at him am i? I'm not suggesting getting him sacked from his job or anything. I personally think Mods not being about has been a main part of the problem, So Marcus is part of the problem. Nothing against him as a person. He's got a life, fair play, his absence doesn't help here though. Keeping a mod that has no time mod seems utterly pointless. But fair play if he hasn't stepped aside, up to him of course, your comments in the op looked like he had. If they didn't they explain he probibly should if another replacement could be found.
Somebody who's never here shouldn't fill a role which could be filled by people who can be. Just common sense to me.
Maybe I can just put sentimentality aside too easy, but i wasn't attacking Marcus as person at all. Me backing Com in the role should surly show it's not personal to me.
If I was to step aside, I can guarantee posts like this will put off future potential moderators

Pops spends loads of time on here. He's just hasn't been showed the ins and outs so has been completely handicapped. No fault of his but yes it has been a problem, one that's been acknowledged and Com will help Pops out.
See I haven't been shown either. Literally found stuff by luck rather than management. Fwiw I should have more time for this place leading up to Christmas as work ramps down from now so I get chance to get on. Will take each month after that as it comes
Ok twist the words and ignore all the times i've said it's not personal, I meant, in an Ideal world you wouldn't be a mod and somebody how could give it more time. I was a big source of trouble for you lot on here. I'm big enough to acknowledge and realise that, so I have started to post a lot more on the Premier league and GC boards now, where we are pretty much all unmoderated. It's better for me, and I'm finding it works.
I'll still come on here for the match threads and transfer windows, but I'll generally be in other places.

For what it's worth I think you'd be spot on as a mod Tel and while ideally all the mods would be Sunderland fans it doesn't actually matter.

I don't think it'd look great would it, a mod taking the piss out of Rackem's threads once a week? There's many, many reasons, but this thread has helped solve the problem, four good mods who will, between them, steer the ship to calmer waters and then we can have a boat party.
